Week 4 Update
Week 4 Update and Risk Assessment
As January closes, I hope you are making the most of lighter afternoons. It is a little ray of hope at the moment that better things are coming.
Thank you to those who have completed the online learning form. This feedback is very helpful. Please do get in touch with the class teacher either via Teams or the admin office to raise any concerns or questions and they will do their best to help.
The numbers in school have now reached 100 and my thanks to those parents whose children are only accessing school the days when there is nobody at home to look after them. Running a physical school and a virtual school simultaneously presents a huge challenge and we can only stretch our staff in so many ways.
Next week is Children’s Mental Health Week
This year’s theme is Express Yourself.
Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good.
It’s important to remember that being able to express yourself is not about being the best at something or putting on a performance for others. It is about finding a way to show who you are, and how you see the world, that can help you feel good about yourself.
This weekend is the RSPB Great Garden Birdwatch. This is something you can do at home just by looking out of the window. Count the birds you see for one hour and send in the results via the RSPB website.
As you know we are now testing staff in school for Covid 19 twice a week. All tests came back negative this week which was a great start and long may it continue.
