The Skills Builder Partnership works with schools and colleges to ensure that every child and young person builds the essential skills that they need to succeed. Over the last ten years, they have seen some incredible examples of schools and colleges who have ensured that building essential skills becomes a normal part of a good education.

The eight skills are:

• Teamwork

Skills Builder recognises the vital role parents and carers have in helping their children to build their essential skills. The Skills Builder Universal Framework which provides a common language for building essential skills has been used to create Homezone especially for parents and carers.
